Coupon Organizing: Basic & Average Savers

After you've chosen your couponing level, you'll want to chose how you organize your coupons.  This is important, if you bypass this step you'll be mad about it when you go to use your coupons.  The way you organize your coupons is completely personal and up to you however it varies with your level too.

Here's a guide to help you organize based on your couponing level:

Basic & Average Savers - Using a mini coupon organizer will help you keep your coupons accessible and organized.  Since you will not be using a lot of coupons, this size is perfect for you.

Using the index tabs organize into categories that you use, usually for this size there are 13 compartments.  Since you don't have a huge amount of coupons, some great general categories for you are:

Baby - If you have a baby, use this category for diapers, baby food, wipes, baby toys, etc.

Bath & Beauty - Here you'll put coupons for bath items like soap, shampoo and beauty items like makeup, nail polish and facial cleansers.  Things like sunscreen go here too.

Beverages - Anything you drink, coffee, juice, juice mix, soda, water, tea, wine.

Condiments & Sauces - All condiments (mayo, spices, hot sauce) go here as well as sauces and dressings.

Dairy - Here you'll put all your dairy like cheese, milk, dairy creams, pudding, yogurt, etc.

Dry Goods - This section is for pasta, cereal, rice, oatmeal, meal mixes... anything that goes on the shelf and is dry.

Frozen - This is for anything in the freezer aisle, ice cream, veggies, frozen meals.

Household - All cleaners, laundry, toilet tissue, facial tissues, sanitary items and food storage go here.

Produce - Everything fresh from the produce aisle, such as bagged salads and fruit.

Outside - Here you'll put items that go outside such as pesticides and garden items.

These work great for you:
